About Madikeri View
As you walk into Alamanda Estate, you instinctively know it has many many old stories to tell. The trees, the creepers, the birds, the spiders, the cicadas, the wilderness have all been there longer than one can imagine and will offer up their secrets if you just listened.
When you step on to the wide verandas that hem in the cottages you are greeted by weathered, winding, old branches covered in lush green moss & creepers and the spread of the beautiful, mist-covered, blue-green Western Ghats in the horizon. But let your eyes follow the branches over the veranda, to their trunks and.... Way way down in the valley where trunks begin is a whole different world to be explored! Take a small trek down the jungle path to find out. Hang around the cottages to relax. Soak in the sun on the verandas, lawns or the terraces. Eventually you will unwind and hear the stories of the forest and plantations.
The quaint cottage and annex are placed on the slopes that form the Alamanda Estate coffee plantation. They are spacious and designed in the typical rain forest cottage style to fit in well with the regional landscape.
We have 2 Independent Cottages (Madikeri View Cottages) with 2 Independent Rooms in each cottage.
Each Room has independent access with attached western baths. The cottage also has a common hall and common TV.
Next to the Cottages is a two storied building (Madikeri View Annex) which has 4 Bedrooms.
2 Rooms are on the ground floor and 2 Rooms on the first floor.
